Longitudinally stepped variable deadrise hull
The F&S hull layup process utilizes three layers of half-inch Okume plywood on the bottom with an extra inch for good measure in the engine room and bulkheads and a layer of biaxial fiberglass between the second and third layer of Okume. This gives extra strength to stress points and the boat’s heavy machinery.
Built for a softer ride, more stability
Additionally, three “Step’ panels are mounted on each side of the solid keel; each at varying deadrise angles from the next. This combination releases pressure and creates lift, allowing for both a softer ride and stability at any speed, at any angle, and in any sea condition. The longitudinal steps also allow for air to travel along the length of the hull; reducing friction and increased efficiency, thus requiring less horsepower at maximum speed.

Flow-Angled Rudders
Your custom flow-angled rudders is perfectly aligned with the propeller to increase propulsion and reduce drag.
This results in maximized speed, decreased fuel consumption, and reduced noise and vibration.
- Increase top speed by reducing rotational losses and minimizing drag.
- Optimized profile of each rudder, designed to work perfectly for your vessel.
- Significantly improved propulsive efficiency.
